The Equal Typeface

A Typeface called The Equal where all letters use the same amount of ink. I made it for The Equality Weekend at De Balie in Amsterdam where designers were invited to experiment with the concept of equality. I wanted to show that Equality doesn't equals Balance. All letters use the same amount of Ink (Jan Van Bruggen built the aplication to count the pixels) but when put together forming words these letters look as if they don't fit together and the writing looks unbalanced.
