Buren Winkel
The Burenwinkel (means neighbourshop) is a collaborative project coordinated by Martijn Engelbregt. It is a collection of products, tools and devices designed especially for neighbors. A hypermodern mobile shop filled with neighbor products and travels between neighborhoods. http://www.burenwinkel.nl. Me and Ogul Oz did the communication for this project, from the design of the logo (Ogul Oz) to the publicity, the design for the Bus, the product packaging and the product labels.

The Logo was made by Ogul, and refers to that proximity that is necessary in order to be a neighbor. The Burenwinkel opens in half dividing the logo, inviting the public to come in our house.
As advertising to the Burenwinkel we wanted to keep it small and local. Since its a store made for neighbors our campaign remained low budget and personal like most ads in your local supermarket. The way neighbors usually communicate. We went to the neighborhoods where Burenwinkel was going to and posted a lot of ads asking "Do you need a good neighbor?" ,"Looking for a Dutch neighbor?" "Dislike your neighborhood?" We took a lot of the cutout little papers so that people will ask why their neighbors were not happy about living there.
